Dorset – Purchaser – Testing
My client are leaders in the testing industry. The company are increasingly growing and are looking for a Purchaser.
Main Duties:
· Negotiate best possible savings on items/services purchased
· Liaising with colleagues to advise purchasing status and issues
· Obtaining quotes when required
· Identifying alternative sources of supply for long-lead / out of stock items
· Progressing orders to required delivery date & follow-up on late deliveries
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors
· Suggesting & implementing process improvements within the Company’s Continuous Improvement framework
Key Skills and Experience:
· Previous experience within a Purchaser or Similar Role
· Experience of working in a busy office and manufacturing environment
