Engineering Manager - £60k-£65k – Bedfordshire – Industrial Equipment
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading company specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of industrial equipment and machinery. They’re seeking a qualified Design Manager with proven experience in leading high performance design teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all aspects of product development, from concept generation and prototyping to testing, analysis, and manufacturing.
Main Duties:
+ Manage the design team
+ Oversee all designs from concept to production
+ Produce well-engineered and cost-effective designs
+ Internal & external Stakeholder management
+ Ensure designs comply with client and industry standards
+ Mentor and develop engineers
Skills & Experience:
+ Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
+ Proven track record in leading a design team
+ Strong 2D/3D CAD skills
+ Experience in industrial effluent treatment processes, equipment, and construction methods
+ Strong communication skills
The salary will be between £60,000-£65,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available.
