Mechanical Engineer – $80K-$130K – Austin - Consumer
My client is one of the most creative, talented teams I know operating in the consumer product space. They’re on the lookout for a mechanical design engineer with a strong academic background and some outstanding experience in the space. Have a look and apply.
Main Duties:
+ Design & development of consumer products – wearables and molded enclosures
+ Taking projects from ideation all the way through
+ Significant amounts of CAD work
Skills and experience required:
+ Strong academic background (ideally a tier 1 university) and 3+ years’ experience
+ A portfolio will help your application massively
+ 3D CAD (Creo would be ideal, but will look at anything)
+ Experience with complex mechanisms/precision design/molded products
+ Any experience in medical as well, would be a bonus
