Platform Recruitment is founded
Platform was founded out of a small office in North London. We quickly grew our Client base recruiting within the Embedded Software and Electronics markets.
Growth and office move
The Platform Team started to grow and we moved to a new, bigger office in North London to accommodate the increase in headcount. We increased our service offering to include Mechanical Engineering, SW Test and SW Development.
Even more growth
Building on an already well established Client base, we were able to grow even more and expand our operations to cover the whole of the UK. Our Key Accounts Team was created to offer an additional level of service to our Clients.
Another bigger office
We moved into a new office, double the size, after outgrowing what we previously had. Our Key Accounts Team and specialist 360's Teams were growing and taking on more and more new business. We also had a record year in 2018 financially.
On our way back from a company skiing trip, we were hit with the news of a looming Covid lockdown. We quickly adopted a "Work from Home" strategy, which helped us navigate what was a difficult time for all businesses in the UK.
Record growth and record financial performance
At the start of 2022 we signed a lease on a new office space which would accommodate huge headcount growth. We had a record year for placements made in 2022 meaning it was our best year financially to date. All of this is currently influencing our continued growth and our expansion into new markets.
Platform Recruitment and More Trees
For every placement Platform Recruitment makes we plant one tree on behalf of the Client and one tree on behalf of the Candidate.
The number of trees planted and levels of CO2 sequestration is growing daily.
