Mechanical Engineer - £40K - £50K - Basingstoke - Electro-Mechanical Components (Automotive)
I’m currently recruiting for a leading technology company that specialises in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical devices and systems for a number of industries. They are looking for a hands-on, skilled, and technical Mechanical Engineer with an Automotive/EV background to join an expanding design team. Due to the expansion of the business you will have the opportunity to work on exciting new projects at early-stage development as well as developing the current product line.
Main Duties Include:
+ DFM
+ 2D/3D CAD design
+ Liaising with clients and customers for new and existing products
+ Prototyping and testing
+ Maintaining product quality in line with company and international standards
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Degree preferred)
+ Minimum of 3-5 years experience design electro-mechanical devices/components
+ Experience with high precision electro-mechanical manufacturing (preferred)
+ 3D CAD Experience - Solidworks preferred
+ Strong knowledge of concept and process development through the use of ‘Design of Experiment’, FMEAs and standard automotive quality practices
Salary will be between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including a bonus scheme, annual salary reviews and life assurance etc.
