Mechanical Design Engineer - £45k-£50k - Essex - Electro-Mechanical
My client design, manufacture and supply cutting-edge electro-mechanical equipment to clients across the world. They’re looking for a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer who is experienced and interested in all aspects of product development, including concept generation, prototyping, test, analysis and manufacture.
Main Duties:
+ Design from concept stages through to production
+ Create product development roadmaps
+ Complex mechanism design
+ 3D CAD design
+ Maintain & improve existing product ranges
+ Prototype & test designs
Skills and attributes required:
+ Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
+ Experienced in the full product lifecycle
+ Background in product development
+ Component & mechanism design
+ Strong 3D CAD skills – Ideally Solidworks
+ Experience in developing electro-mechanical equipment
The salary will be between £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience. There will also be a generous benefits package available.
