Senior Test & Development Engineer - £40k-£65k - Cambridgeshire - Test Rig Design
Platform Recruitment is collaborating with an automation company developing life changing products. They’re looking for experienced Test & Development Engineers to work in a multidisciplinary team and develop bespoke test rigs to enable rigorous testing. You will steer the development towards a reliable and robust system through the creation of bespoke test environments, hands-on testing, and experimental work. You’ll be involved in electro-mechanical assembly and testing of components, systems, and later transfer to manufacture.
Main Duties:
+ Create bespoke test environments
+ Perform hands-on testing and experimental work
+ Electro-mechanical device assembly and testing
+ Conduct reliability testing
+ Facilitate transfer to manufacture
Skills and experience required:
+ Design & build bespoke test rigs
+ Robust technical analysis and documentation skills
+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly
+ Proven experience in reliability testing methodologies
+ Develop test scripts
The salary will be between £40,000-£65,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available including bonus, private medical & good pension.
