Mechanical Development Engineer - £35K - £45K - Surrey - Scientific Instrumentation
I’m currently recruiting for a tech company specialising in the design and manufacture of scientific instrumentation and medical devices in Surrey. They’re looking for a technical, experienced, and innovative Mechanical Development Engineer to join their design team. You will have the opportunity to take new and exciting products from concept through to development as well as assisting with changes to the existing product range.
Main Duties Include:
+ R&D
+ Supporting the production of existing products
+ 3D CAD Design
+ Prototyping and testing
+ Liaising with new and existing clients
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Minimum of 4 years industry experience
+ 3D CAD design experience (Solid Edge preferred)
+ Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle
+ Experience with in the medical/scientific instrumentation industry
+ Experience with vacuum/x-ray/microscopy/optics (preferred)
Salary will be between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including private medical cover and an annual company bonus scheme.
