Mechanical Design Engineer - Oxfordshire - £40-45k
Platform Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a company that produces high end audio equipment. They provide specialist services with a focus on value, innovation, and quality that are key to their product developments. The design tasks will involve various materials and span across multiple markets
They are looking for a mechanical design engineer with 2 years of experience (min) to help develop and grow their existing product range. The candidate should be an engineer that has expertise in design, advocates for innovative concepts, and invigorates design approaches.
Main Duties:
+ Design and develop new products using 3D CAD.
+ Designing sheet metal components.
+ Conducting DFMEA/ FMEA.
+ Design for manufacture and assembly.
+ Creating products with attention to environmental requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
+ 2 years min. of relevant industry experience.
+ Degree in Relevant engineering discipline or apprenticeship trained.
+ Experience in full product lifecycle.
+ Produce manufacturing drawings to BS8888 / tolerance analysis.
+ Graphic design programme experience such as Illustrator.
The salary will be between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
