Guildford – Junior Electronics Engineer – 30k
Platform have partnered with a company that are leaders in the manufacturing of testing equipment. They are now building out a new R&D team and are looking for a Junior or graduate engineer who is looking to kick start their career within Electronics. This is a varied role and will give the opportunity to work on PCB designs, mechanical CAD design and some firmware development.
Main Duties:
+ Work with the engineering team to help with the maintenance of existing products
+ Improve design builds without wastage and ensure instructions are written correctly to ensure PCBs are delivered to specification.
+ Work with the test department to solve and fault find problems.
Skills Needed:
+ Ideally educated to degree level within Electronics or related specialism, however, this isn’t essential and any hands on industry experience will be considered also.
+ Experience working on PCB designs
+ Experience within Mechatronics would also be highly advantageous
Further Details:
This role would require someone to be onsite due to the nature of the hands on work with the hardware. You will be working alongside another Senior Engineer as well as one of the managers that will help train in areas that you aren’t as proficient in.
