Berkshire – Technical Support Engineer – £40k-£50k - Instrumentation
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovator of instrumentation for harsh environments. They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team based in Berkshire. You will provide first and second line technical support to the international client base.
Main Duties:
+Supporting customers and distributors through remote diagnosis
+ Learning about company products and working applications
+ Providing customer training both in-house and at customer sites.
+ Providing continuous feedback to engineering team
+ Working through a list of prioritised support tickets
Knowledge Desired:
+ Networking (IP, Wi-Fi, GSM and serial protocol)
+ Electronics
+ Mechanics
+ Control systems
+ Windows, Linux and iOS operating systems
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is £40k-£50k, depending on experience
+ This role is full-time, based in Berkshire, with hybrid working options on offer
