​Senior Manufacturing Engineer - £45k-£55k - Buckinghamshire - Electro-Mechanical
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company that specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of electro-mechanical instruments. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they're looking to grow the engineering team with a passionate Senior Manufacturing Engineer to implement the necessary changes to streamline and improve their production processes of a new manufacturing facility.

Main Duties:
+ Improve the manufacturability of current products
+ Improve component and product quality
+ Preparation and maintenance of work instructions & test procedures
+ Design and assemble custom tooling for new & existing products
+ Develop, monitor and improve the production process for new & existing products
+ Calibrate and maintain test equipment & tooling

Experience:
+ Ideally degree educated in relevant field
+ Background in electro-mechanical product development, manufacture and test
+ Experience of lean, cellular manufacturing & Kaizen continuous improvement
+ Experience in the design & validation of custom tooling
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
+ Experience in design & manufacture of regulated industries

The salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available including a good bonus.
