Surrey – Senior Hardware Engineer – 55-65k
This is a great opportunity to join an established medical start up who are producing hundreds of bespoke units weekly and work with them on exciting new projects within AR/VR applications. This position requires someone with a solid understanding of hardware and electronics to help design for manufacture (DFM).
Main Duties:
+ Lead hardware engineering duties from schematic capture, PCB design and rapid prototyping
+ Work to medical device standards and products that are Class 1 devices
+ Manage component selection and procurement
+ Work on future high-speed digital design projects
+ Advise on and have ownership on the future hardware development and architecture
Skills Needed:
+ Strong experience needed within Electronics design including PCB design
+ Experience within design for manufacture principles (DFM)
+ Experience with high speed design would be highly advantageous (experience with DDR3/4, PCIe etc)

This position is a hybrid role and you would be expected to be in the office around 1-2 days a week. The role also comes with benefits such as private health insurance.
