My client is looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join the team as a contractor ASAP. You’ll be designing and developing embedded control systems for aerospace products.
Austin is preferred but this role can also be remote.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop embedded control systems for aerospace products.
Assist in proposal efforts by assessing requirements and contributing to cost estimation.
Create system models using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
Design hardware components such as motor control and power electronics.
Develop firmware and software for embedded systems.
Prepare documentation for internal and customer use.
Maintain released firmware/software and perform validation and verification.
10-15% travel to another site, and support customer/ supplier visits
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in motor controls and embedded systems.
Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/SIMULINK, and hardware design.
Familiarity with aerospace communication interfaces and real-time systems.
Must be a U.S. Person.
Pay Rate
$70-$90/hr
