Production Engineer - £35k-£40k – Cambridgeshire – Electro-Mechanical
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company that specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of electro-mechanical systems. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they're looking to grow the engineering team with a passionate Production Engineer to take on responsibility for the documentation & specification of products throughout their lifecycle along with test and production requirements.
Main Duties:
+ Maintain accurate product specifications, test and build records
+ Provide support during product testing
+ Have ownership of supplier relationships
+ Develop, monitor and improve production processes
+ Draft and ensure accurate implementation of ECRs
Experience:
+ Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering processes
+ Ability to read technical drawings
+ Background in electronic & mechanical assembly
+ Experience with PLM systems
+ 2D/3D CAD experience
+ Strong written & verbal communication
The salary will be between £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available.
