Mechanical Design Engineer - £30k-£38k – Suffolk – Tooling
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company specialising in the design, manufacture, and global distribution products. As part of their expansion plan, they’re seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of cutting-edge production tooling that meets the high standards of their production department.
Main Duties:
+ Produce conceptual tooling designs
+ 3D CAD design
+ Develop methods for product testing and conduct data analysis
+ Design from concept through to production
+ Prototype & test designs
Skills & Experience:
+ Previous tooling design experience
+ 3D CAD design – Ideally Solidworks
+ Strong workshop skills
+ Experienced in prototyping & testing
The salary will be between £30,000-£38,000 depending on experience.
