Mechanical Design Engineer - £35K - £45K - Berkshire - Design Consultancy
I’m currently recruiting for a leading design consultancy specialising in the design and manufacture of products for a wide range of industries including consumer goods and medical devices. They’re looking for a technical, experienced, and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team. You will have the opportunity to take new and exciting products from concept through to development as well as working on several NPD projects at early stages.
Main Duties Include:
+ R&D
+ Supporting the production of existing products
+ 3D CAD Design
+ Prototyping and testing
+ CNC Machining and technical plastic moulding
+ Liaising with new and existing clients
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Minimum of 4 years industry experience
+ 3D CAD design experience (Solidworks preferred)
+ Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle
+ Knowledge of materials, plastic, and metal production processes
+ Consultancy experience (preferred)
Salary will be between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including annual salary reviews and a strong pension scheme.
