What you’ll do:
Microarchitecture Development and Specification
RTL Design Development and Refinement
Validation
Performance Exploration and Correlation
Design Delivery
What you need:
Understand how CPUs work and have experience in areas like memory management and power optimization.
Proficient in using System Verilog for CPU design.
Experienced in using testing tools and debugging.
Familiar with strategies for optimizing CPU efficiency and reducing power consumption.
Knowledgeable about balancing performance and efficiency in CPU design.
Skilled in programming with languages such as C or C++.
Comfortable with scripting languages like Perl or Python.
Education and Experience:
PhD, Master’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical subject area related to computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in CPU microarchitecture and logic design is desirable
