​Engineering Manager

​Engineering Manager - £50k-£55k – Peterborough – Special Purpose Machinery
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company that develops various lines of special purpose machinery. They’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic engineer to join an expanding team. You will need to be capable of delivering highly robust and thoroughly tested mechanical design solutions as well as manage a small team of Design Engineers.

Main Duties:
+ Lead a small design team
+ Take overall design responsibility for projects
+ 3D CAD design
+ Design and develop new machinery
+ Develop & implement new team processes
+ Project management  

Skills & Experience Required:
+ Special purpose machinery/capital equipment design
+ Experienced in managing engineers
+ Strong 3D CAD skills
+ Knowledge of fabrication, machining and assembly techniques
+ Strong communicator
+ Hands on and practical

The salary will be between £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
