Leicester (2 days from home) – Embedded Software Engineer – Salary negotiable – circa 60-65k+
This is a great opportunity to join one of our large clients operating in the marine space. They are looking to bring on a Embedded engineer with strong skills with Embedded C++. This Embedded Software role comes with hybrid working and great benefits.
Main Duties:
+ Develop multi-threaded real time embedded C++ applications for microcontrollers and microprocessors (STM32, Xilinx Zynq, Nvidia Jetson)
+ Work on custom drivers to interact with hardware components for our clients bespoke hardware platforms.
+ Develop new and existing software applications as part of the engineering team.
+Establish, maintain and extend in-depth technical expertise to stay up to date with latest technologies.
Skills Needed:
+ Degree qualified within Computer Science or related discipline
+ Experience working with RTOS, ideally FreeRTOS
+ Experience within Embedded programming using C/C++
Further Information:
This role comes with hybrid working and flexible hours. You will be expected to come to the office 3 days a week, and the core hours are 10-4pm Mon-Thu and 10-2pm on a Friday. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. They also have an 8% employer pension contribution with no employee expectation to contribute.
