East Sussex (Hybrid working options available) – Electronics Design Engineer – 45-55k
Platform Recruitment have partnered with a client working within the scientific field, manufacturing highly specialised laboratory equipment. They are now looking to bring on 2 new Electronics Engineers who have experience in developing analogue and digital electronics, with a competency in PCB design. These engineers will work in the new product development team and ensure the development of new products for clients.
Main Duties:
+ Design and develop electrical/electronic solutions within the NPD (New Product Development) teams.
+ Define user interface needs by liasing cross departments and ensure the documentation of technical requirements.
+ Design analogue and digital electronic systems.
+ Develop firmware and user interfaces across different products.
+ Ensure designs meet safety and legal requirements.
Skills Needed:
+ Experience with NPD in a manufacturing environment with a clear history of designing products launched to market.
+ Experience in developing analogue and digital electronics with a competency in PCB design (they use Altium and SolidWorks).
+ Experience with Embedded C/C++ and knowledge working on Linux would be an advantage.
+ Valid driving license as you may occasionally travel to customer sites around the SE of England.
Further Information:
This role will have some hybrid options so you won’t be expected to be in every day. However, you will need to be commutable to the office.
