Product Design Engineer - £30K - £40K - Somerset - Consumer Products
I’m currently recruiting for a leading technology company in the Somerset area specialising in the design and manufacture of consumer goods and appliances. They’re looking for a talented, enthusiastic and creative Design Engineer to join an innovative NPD team where you’ll get the opportunity to work on exciting new projects from cradle to grave.
Main Duties Include:
+Designing new products to take on the market
+ Working alongside project management team
+ Prototype and test designs
+ Contribute to project development
+ 3D CAD design
Skills and Experience Required:
+ 2+ years DFM experience
+ Plastic manufacturing experience
+ 3D CAD Design (Solidworks preferred)
+ Good hand model-making skills
+ Experience designing small domestic appliances (preferred)
+ Experience designing products from concept through to production
Salary will be between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. The company also has a strong benefits package including discounts to gyms and wellness centres, company pension scheme and relocation assistance.
