Peterborough – Controls Engineer – £35k-£45k – Machinery
My client is an expert, innovative provider of special purpose machinery. They are looking to recruit Controls Engineers to join their team. You will design, test, and where necessary, commission electrical control systems for machinery.
Main Duties:
+ Developing PLC and HMI software for a variety of platforms
+ Designing electrical hardware parts lists and control panels
+ Specifying technical requirements for bought out equipment
+ Producing machine test specifications
+ Testing equipment in assembly shop and on customer sites as required
Key Skills:
+ Experienced in controls engineering
+ PLC/HMI programming highly desirable
+ Electrical engineering knowledge
+ Experience with similar machinery desirable
Salary:
+ The salary for this position will be circa £35k-£40k, however this may be negotiable depending on experience
+ The role is based in Peterborough, however may require travel from time to time
