Software Support Engineer – Potters Bar - £35k
My client is a computer and network security company who develop enterprise-grade security software products. They are looking to recruit a Software Support Engineer who will provide email and telephone support to our world-wide business customers as well as delivering remote installation, troubleshooting, and training sessions over the internet.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of network security, security software and hardware products such as firewall, VPN etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be in constant contact with our customers, delivering top quality service.
Key skills:
· Broad knowledge and understanding of Network Security.
· Experience with Microsoft Server and Networking Technologies.
· Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills.
· Very good/Professional Customer Service and Communication Skills.
· Experience with Networking Appliances such as Cisco Firewall and VPN Products
· Knowledge of SQL Databases such as MySQL and MS-SQL
Salary/Location/Experience:
+ Salary is Circa 35k.
+ This position is based in Potters Bar
+ A minimum of 1 Years Experience Required
