Senior Manufacturing Engineer – £50k-£60k – Cambridge - Automated Manufacturing
My client is leading manufacturer of high-tech precision electro-mechanical products for a range of different industries. They’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development of new equipment to take production to the next level. You will have a significant impact on production quality, productivity and delivery speed to customers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to take a step up.
Main Duties:
+ Develop automation concepts and equipment upgrades
+ Identify outsourcing partners
+ Support continuous improvement
+ Ensure full product documentation is provided to operations
+ Project management
+ Support operation and field service teams
Skills & Experience Required:
+ Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
+ Proven experience in automated manufacturing equipment
+ Experience of working in a lean manufacturing environment
+ Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and controls
+ Experience in implementing and promoting continuous improvement
+ Awareness of key occupational H&S requirements
The salary will be between £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available.
