Mechanical Design Engineer - £30K - £40K - Amesbury - Consumer Electronics
I’m currently recruiting for a leading global company specialising in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical consumer products. They’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic and creative Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative design team. You’ll get the opportunity to work on exciting new projects from concept through to manufacture as well as enhancing the current project range.
Main Duties Include:
+ Detailed mechanical design
+ R&D and NPD
+ 3D CAD design (Solidworks)
+ Prototyping and testing
+ Working closely with the electronics team on product development
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Strong 2D/3D CAD design experience (Solidworks preferred)
+ Design for manufacture experience
+ A good knowledge of injection moulding/plastic manufacturing
+ Hands on workshop skills/experience
+ Experience designing products from concept through to production
Salary will be between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. The company also has a range of benefits including a bonus scheme, retail discounts and flexible working.
