Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer - Warwickshire - £26-28k
Platform Recruitment is seeking exceptional graduate mechanical engineers with product development experience to join our clients successful, dynamic technical team. You will get the chance to work alongside other outstanding individuals on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects, from well-known consumer products, novel transport solutions to safety critical medical devices knowing that with your input you can make a real difference to people’s lives.
They are looking for strong academic graduates with a MEng or BEng in Mechanical Design engineers with ABB A-Level results (min). An ideal candidate will have a portfolio or hobbies and interests that demonstrate their engineering skills.
Main Duties:
+ Design and develop new products using 3D CAD.
+ Designing sheet metal components.
+ Conducting DFMEA/ FMEA/ FEA /CFD.
+ Design for manufacture and assembly.
+ Creating products with attention to ISO standard requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
+ 2:1 or Higher, MEng or BEng Mechanical Engineering degree.
+ ABB at A-Level (Maths and Physics)
+ Experience in full product lifecycle.
+ Produce manufacturing drawings/ 3D models.
+ Understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and materials.
The salary will be between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
