DevOps Engineer

​Cambridge/Remote – DevOps Engineer – £45k-£55k – Media
My client is an innovator in video solutions for the media companies. They are currently looking to recruit a DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be a keen agile practitioner, from a software development background, and has a solid understanding of DevOps practices and processes.

Main Duties:
+ Working with the Senior Development Team, CTO and Professional Services
+ Working with developers to understand the impacts of branches and code merges
+ Conducting readiness reviews ahead of deployment to live environments
+ Striving for continuous improvement
+ Implementing a modern IaaS infrastructure
 
Required skills/experience:
+ 1-2 years of DevOps experience
+ Azure DevOps experience
+ Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
+ Experience on setting up tools and required infrastructure on Windows, Linux and microservices
+ Experience with deployment and maintenance of resources

Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is circa £45k-£55k for the role, depending on experience
+ The office is based in Cambridge, and they ideally want someone attending the office at least once per week
