Design Engineer - £35K - £55K - Automotive/Motorsport - Reading
I’m currently recruiting for a leading company specialising in the design and manufacture of high performance automotive parts for top level motorsport/automotive applications. They’re looking for a technical, enthusiastic and hands-on Design Engineer to join an expanding design team. You will have the opportunity to work on several projects currently in early stage development as well as assisting in the development of the existing product range.
Main Duties Include:
+ Design of automotive components
+ Design for manufacture and assembly
+ 3D CAD design
+ Prototyping and testing
+ Technical drawing to BS8888 standards
Skills and Experience Required:
+ At least 1 year industry experience (post study)
+ 3D CAD design experience (NX preferred)
+ Experience with automotive components e.g. Transmissions systems/gearboxes
+ Experience designing rotating machinery/components
+ Experience with metal manufacturing techniques such as milling, turning and grinding
Salary will be between £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including private medical care and life assurance as part of the package for this role.
